The following is a list of essential oils that are used in aromatherapy and massage. I will be building pages on each individual oil, that will have information about that oil, including the different properties and health benefits.
Some of the essential oils will have warnings about their use, such as not to use undiluted, or don’t use if you will be out in the sun. Not all of the oils listed are safe to use without specialized knowledge.
Any text that is underlined in the following list is an active link to another page. I will be adding more as time allows. You can also check out my Aromatherapy page for additional information on the history of Aromatherapy, and how it works.

Basic Safety
Essential Oils are very concentrated and in most cases should always be diluted in oil or lotion before using on the skin. Avoid contact with the eyes or mucus membranes. If this happens, you can flush the area using a vegetable oil or milk. Do not use water, as that will drive the oils deeper in. Some of the essential oils are phototoxic, such as Bergamot, Orange, and Lemon, and should not be used directly on the skin before going out in the sun.
