Do you have a claim for a work related injury with WA State Labor and Industries? Has your doctor written you a referral for massage to address your injury? Then I can help you!
I am a massage provider for WA State Labor and Industries (also known as “LNI”, “L&I” and “Workman’s Comp”). If you have a referral from your physician for massage, give me a call and we can get your massage appointments set up.
When you call, I’ll need the following information from you, so that I can verify with Labor & Industries that you have coverage.
- Your name.
- Date of Injury.
- Your LNI (Labor & Industries) Claim number.
Once I have verification of a valid claim, we can set up your series of massage appointments.
At your first appointment I will need:
- Your case manager’s name and phone number.
- Referring physician’s name and phone number.
- Your Social Security number.
Generally, you will be allowed 6 visits to start. If improvement is shown, then more be authorized. The people that do the best, also do the “homework” that is given to them.
Along with what your doctor and other health care providers recommend, I will usually suggest stretches to do at home, if appropriate. I will also help you to be aware of how you move might be affecting your injury, and ways that you can minimize pain and increase range of motion.
Over the years I’ve helped many people that have come to see me for massage with WA State Labor and Industry (L&I) claims, and I look forward to being able to help you, also. I’ve worked extensively with neck/shoulder injuries, and low back injuries. Call me (Becky) at: (360) 413-5863, and we can discuss your case.
